Waki what?
Wakinyan is a Lakota (Teton Sioux) word for "Thunder". In a mythical context, the word is taken to mean "Thunder bird" - and is the icon for our bike club.
So don't say we don't try and educate ya...
What's happening?
We got a great line-up of bands that will be playing this year - we have Big Guns headlining on Friday night, and the amazing Twin Lizzy headlining for us on the Saturday night! So be sure to pack you're party frock!
We will be creating some more silly games for this year - so be sure to bring a change of clothes with you. So many people wanted to join in last year, but didn't want to get covered in all the muck that was being flung about...just check out the pics in the Gallery and you'll know what we mean.
We are planning a ride out again, but can't tell you where to just yet, so the tab at the top doesn't work yet. It will once we know where you're gonna be dragged off to.
Kids!
Don't forget to bring yer kids! We're quite friendly really, we only bite when asked nicely. There's plenty of car parking available if you can't fit 'em all in your sidecar.
Supporting The Royal British Legion
We shall be supporting The Royal British Legion with a donation this year. Last year we raised £550.00 for Help for Heroes, which is pretty damn cool seeing as there was only around 200 of us there.
